Description

Get the ultimate Arabian desert safari experience in a 4WD safari jeep. Take in the scenery as you ride a camel headed to a campsite in the desert. Then, as the nigh unfolds, indulge in a Bedouin-style barbecue dinner buffet.

  • Any cancellations made after 16:00 local time, 3 business days prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 100% of the total amount.

Check In/Pickup Location Details

  • You will be notified about the pick-up time after your tour has been confirmed.
    Desert hotels will require an additional fare for pick-up on site.
    Guests on their first day of arrival can be picked up from the Dubai International Airport and be transported to the hotel after Burj Khalifa. This can be discussed with your guide.

Restrictions

  • Guests who are pregnant are not permitted to participate in this activity.
  • Guests with neck, back or joint problems are not permitted to participate in this activity.
  • Children 4 years old and below must use a car seat.

Additional Notes

  • The activity schedule is subject to change or cancellation due to weather or traffic conditions.
  • Please refrain from smoking in the car.
  • Please note that seatbelts are required to be worn during the drive for safety reasons.
  • The activity will involve an extreme off-road drive on bumpy dunes for more than 30 minutes. If you do not feel well during the activity, do not hesitate to inform the driver.
  • Water and soft drinks offered in the campsite are free of charge. Alcohol will be charged separately.
  • During religious holidays (such as Ramadan), alcohol will not be served and the belly dance show will not be performed.
  • Participants with sensitive skin can still get a henna tattoo but are advised to do so at their own discretion.
  • All camels used for the camel ride have gone through inspection and are inspected every 3 months as advised by the Dubai government.
  • You will be notified about the pick-up time when your booking is confirmed.
  • A maximum of 6 passengers is allowed per chartered vehicle. Note that only the vehicle will be rented for private use. The dinner service at camp and other activities will be shared with other participants.
  • No suitcases allowed inside the Safari. If guests have suitcases, it will be dropped off at the HTL before the start of the Safario tour.
  • Please note that the summer season menu can be a sharing menu. This is subject to change.

Dressing & Items to Bring

  • The tour will take place in the desert. It is advisable to wear comfortable cotton clothes and covered shoes. Hats and jumpers are also recommended.

Requirement(s) - other

  • Participants 5 years old and under must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver.
  • Participants 65 years old and above are required to sign a liability waiver before the tour.

Speed around the vast desert and over sand dunes in a 4WD safari jeep. Feel the excitement as your ride takes sweeping turns and dives. Don't forget to take photos of the scenic Arabian sunset during the 10-minute photo stop.

Camel Ride, Traditional Art and Local Snacks
Upon reaching the campsite, try a variety of activities to complete your Arabian adventure. You can go for a 5-minute camel ride, sample Arabian coffee or snacks, put on national costumes, try shisha or get a henna tattoo.

Barbecue Dinner and Belly Dance Show
Dig into an Arabian feast with a menu consisting of kebabs and other traditional dishes paired with flavorful spices. Then watch as skilled belly-dancers perform a captivating 30-minute show of this traditional art form.
